Dr. Allison Spielzinger attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she received her B.S. Degree in Animal Science in 2000. An honors student during her four years, Dr. Spielzinger made Dean's List and earned a scholarship award from the American Society of Animal Science.

Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Spielzinger was admitted to Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2004.

During her free time, Dr. Spielzinger enjoys bird watching and spending time with her cats, Monster and Lion, and her dog, Phoebe.
